At Wisties, our research mission is to build foundational AI capabilities that are truly region ready AI systems that work naturally in local languages, speech patterns, and real world communication contexts.

1) Local-Language Large Language Model (LLM) Development

Wisties develops strong local language LLM capabilities by training and adapting large language models on curated regional corpora. The objective is to enable deep understanding and natural generation across everyday communication, government and business documentation, education, and domain specific content.

High quality data curation, cleaning, and bilingual or multilingual alignment.

Impact

Improved fluency, factual accuracy, reasoning, and instruction following in local languages.

2) Regional Voice Models (STT & TTS)

Wisties builds high-accuracy speech to text (STT) and natural text to speech (TTS) models for regional languages and dialects. These voice technologies are foundational for modern call centers, public service hotlines, accessibility solutions, and voice-first digital services.

Technical Focus

Phonetic modeling, code switching behavior, accent variation, and conversational prosody.

Goal

Deliver voice systems that understand and speak local languages naturally and reliably in real world conditions.

3) Advanced Text & Document OCR

Wisties develops document intelligence systems that accurately convert printed and scanned multilingual text into searchable, structured digital content. These capabilities are critical for digitizing forms, correspondence, archives, and legal documents across regions.

Challenge

Mixed language layouts, degraded scans, non-standard fonts, and language-specific orthography.
